Other event attendees via our virtual event platforms and event apps: To enrich your event experience, Panelle may employ a mobile app downloadable on your smartphone at any of our events. We also utilize a virtual event platform enabling remote event participation. Both platforms offer features like viewing agendas, sponsors, speakers, enhanced networking, and interactivity at the event. Enhanced networking allows all attendees to view the name, job title, and company name of other event attendees. By downloading the app or participating in a virtual event, you consent to share these basic details and to be contacted by other attendees solely for networking purposes related to the event.

Event sponsors and exhibitors: When attending an event, your personal data will be shared with the relevant event sponsor or exhibitor and used in accordance with applicable data protection laws, the sponsor's or exhibitor's privacy notice, and any other notices or consents provided or given at the event.

During certain events, we may capture photographs, screenshots and record videos of presentations and networking activities to be shared through various marketing channels including our website, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram. You will be informed of this during the event and can notify us if you prefer not to be photographed or filmed.

Panelle MEMBERSHIP

To offer our website users a tailored and beneficial experience, we manage various divisions that entail membership. Information will be gathered from prospective members during the subscription process.

You can become a member of Panelle:

- when you create a membership account;

- when you check the relevant opt-in box in our registration forms;

- when you register to one of our events;

When you become a Panelle member your profile including bio, headshot, company name and other public membership information will be fully visible to all Members in the Panelle Membership. You can update your data sharing preferences in My Account settings.

Upon registering to become a Panelle member, you will be automatically enrolled in the Panelle newsletter, which will be sent via email. You retain the right to opt out of receiving this newsletter at any point by clicking the “unsubscribe” button located in the footer of the email.

Member Profile. On our website, we maintain a Member Profile section featuring profiles of our individual members. The information for these profiles is sourced from two channels. Firstly, it includes details provided when you join as a Member or subsequently update through the Panelle account membership section. Secondly, we retain records of your contributions to the site, such as forum posts, blog comments, job adverts, and press releases. These contributions are linked, where applicable, to your member profile, unless you have opted to contribute anonymously.
