Lida Rragami

Lida had taken part in a previous Roundtable with Panelle. She had taken part in our Arctic Wolf events. She was then representing BT, she has now recently moved to Sonnedix where she now heads up the whole Cyber department. She had 20+ years in the cyber industry spanning from the telecoms and energy industires. Lida is a huge advocate for women and mentorship. Lida is open to third-party relationships where both parties mutually benefit, however, she is super cautious with all the recent cyber attacks especially Crowdstrike & Snowflake.

Overview:

Cybersecurity isn’t just a technical challenge, it’s a leadership imperative. As threats grow more complex, businesses need voices at the table who understand risk, resilience, and what it takes to protect the future.

But in cybersecurity leadership, women remain vastly underrepresented. Too often, they’re expected to translate complex risks into simple metrics, influence skeptical boards, and drive proactive security strategies - all while navigating environments where their voices may not carry equal weight.

This session explores what it means to lead in cyber risk as a woman today. We’ll move beyond frameworks and scoring models to focus on influence, communication, and confidence in male-dominated leadership settings.

You'll hear real stories, share experiences, and explore how to advocate for stronger security and more inclusive leadership at the same time.

Topics of Discussion:

1. What challenges are you currently facing when it comes to cyber risk?

2. How do you gain traction with executive boards when communicating cyber risk?

3. What tools or language help translate technical risk into strategic priorities?

4. What makes it harder for women to lead confidently in cyber risk, and how do we change that?

5. How do we build inclusive teams in high-stakes, high-pressure security environments?
